Elizabeth Holleman Robertson is the Director of Operations for Interstellar Technologies Corporation, a start-up “new space” company that is using advanced manufacturing to push innovative and low-cost solutions for space exploration. No stranger to the aerospace arena, Elizabeth is a passionate space and technology advocate with over 15 years of experience spanning both the private and government sectors. Elizabeth previously worked for Paul Allen’s Stratolaunch Research as the Senior Manager of Propulsion where she managed a record-breaking engine development project, pushing the boundaries of revolutionary manufacturing techniques. Elizabeth also worked for NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) in Huntsville, AL where she managed an engine development program utilizing additive manufacturing to design, build and test hardware at a rapid pace. Prior to the end of the Space Shuttle Program, Elizabeth ensured the safety and success of the final missions serving as the Deputy Chief Engineer for Propulsion Systems Engineering and Integration. Elizabeth is a recipient of NASA’s coveted Silver Snoopy Award. Elizabeth earned a BS in mechanical engineering from Louisiana State University in 2004 and a BS in business administration from Washington and Lee University in 2001.
